Jason Colburne is a Co-Founder and the Principal Engineer at goConfirm, where he leads the development of the company’s verified identity technology. His role involves making crucial decisions and setting directions to ensure maximum security and scalability of goConfirm’s solutions.

Jason’s journey in software development began at the age of eleven. With over thirty years of experience, he has acquired expertise in engineering, having worked at notable companies, including Wave Financial, Certicom, and Amazon. Jason has also been instrumental in developing security solutions, such as Certicom AMI, and has run a successful engineering consultancy. Furthermore, he has ventured into entrepreneurship, founding startups in mobile apps, gaming, and big data solutions for small businesses.

Jason holds an Honours Mathematics Degree with a double minor in Physics and Computer Science, showcasing his strong academic foundation in technology.
