ConfirmID Headshot Policy
At Confirm, we take privacy seriously. Your ConfirmID, which includes your legal name and a headshot, is private, and only shared when and with who you choose.
We also take trust seriously. The reciprocal sharing of ConfirmID’s between parties is what helps establish trust. It is for this reason that we require a headshot that fairly represents your likeness.
While we aren’t as strict as governments with passport photos (yes, you can smile!), we do ask that your headshot is a clear and accurate representation of your face, free of obstructions like sunglasses or hats.
We have automated procedures in place to verify the suitability of headshot pictures and you may be asked to upload a new headshot if we believe it does not fully represent your likeness. If this happens, you will not be able to use key functionality until you have made the necessary update.
If you’ve been asked to update your headshot, here’s what you need to do:
1. Navigate to goconfirm.com/a/onboarding
2. Select Add a Headshot
3. Upload a new headshot of yourself
Once you’ve completed the above steps, you will be able to continue using Confirm.
